LE SEPT
(the seven)
Shifting desert sands
Lifted high by the arid wind
Choking out your life.
Like tears from the sky,
Rain falls fast and stings your face
As grief stings your heart.
Rushing through the air,
Surrounded by the clear sky,
Born on wings of faith.
Falling autumn leaves;
A rainbow shower of rain,
Through the misty air.
Sound your battle cry
With those voices in the night;
An unseen chorus.
Feel the flames return.
You know before it’s over,
You’ll burn to ashes.
Endlessness begins,
That least sought after rapture.
Say your fond farewell.
Beautiful, Cala. I love the imagery. And now I'm off to read the other one, as I have been instructed to do.
